Earning a cat's trust, a treasure to behold,
When they let you in, their stories untold,
A gentle cuddle, a purr so sweet,
Moments of joy, pure and complete.

Cats and kittens, masters of play,
Reminding us to seize each day,
In simple pleasures, true bliss resides,
A lesson in life, they gently provide.

Our cat friends, so full of glee,
Captivated by boxes, so carefree,
An empty crate, their throne of might,
Ignoring the toys, their hearts' delight.

A simple package, their kingdom true,
Where they pounce and play, as kittens do,
Humans may fret, "What a waste of cash!"
